Prof. Chariklia Tziraki (F) is an MD, PhD, expert in Medical Technology Assessment. She serves on the medical board of MELABEV and directs its Research Unit. She served as in-house adviser to the USA Senate Health Finance sub-committee, and chaired the Internal Medicine Dept. at George Washington Univ. before   transferring to the USA National Institute of Health, Cancer Prevention Branch.Click to read more

Rakel Berenbaum (F) has a B.A in education and computers and an M.A. in gerontology. She has been involved in informal education and has over 30 years experience in the field of aging. She was director of one of Melabev’s Day Care centers, has worked extensively with volunteers, and has developed learning materials to teach about aging including three books she edited on dementia care.

Judith Amselem (F) BS, is an Occupational Therapist trained at McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, with more than 13 years’ experience. She is a member of the Research Department at MELABEV. She previously worked at Jewish General Hospital, outpatient Psychiatry Department, Montreal, Quebec and specializes in the redevelopment of working skills, reengagement in leisure activities, ADLs and IADLs in aging populations both at home and at the day care centers.

Dr. Rani Polak (M), MD, is the founder and director of Israel’s Healthy Cooking and Lifestyle Center, at the world-famous Hadassah University Hospital in Jerusalem. A Cordon Bleu-educated chef, Dr. Polak received the 2005 Hebrew University Kaye Innovation Award for the healthy cooking workshops he designed for people with special dietary needs. Jenny Safran NaimarK (F) PhD. Nutrition Science / Health Promotion. A lecturer in Tel Aviv – Yaffo Academic College on : nutrition, genetics, healthy lifestyle, sustainability. Developing a new web application promoting healthy lifestyle and evaluating its impact as part of PhD research work , at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
